I'm 13, but ever since I was young I've always dreamed of making the world a better place. It all started when my sister and I were on a beach in Tuscany several years ago. We wanted to scoop the algae off the beach to make it better visually and since then we have always had something to keep us going. Our goal was to keep beaches safe and clean, but we soon realized it was impossible with just two people. That's is why today we've decided to create our very own website; to document what happens on beaches because of our indifference and of our ignorance. This is not what we're supposed to grow into - a world covered in plastic- and I strongly believe that something should be done immediately because we are already far gone.

Hello, I'm Camilla Marabese and just like my sister I really think that us people need a change for the better. You see, trying to find a new planet to live in somewhere out in space doesn't mean we need to finish the job on Earth. Earth is a blessing to us and we are completely destroying it of its natural ecosystems and environments. In my opinion, we should learn how to live in nature and respect it as much as we can because nature is life. In addition, I strongly believe that we can still save the planet and our lives as well because nothing is impossible, we just need to group together as a community and work hard for the goal which is to stop polluting.
